On Thursday, April 14th KU Hillel will host its second formal for the KU Jewish community. While KU Hillel offers many social events throughout the year, formal is a unique opportunity for students to dress up and dance the night away.
“I attended the first ever KU Hillel formal last year and my favorite part was seeing everyone in a formal setting together. While some of us have the opportunity to attend fraternity and sorority formals, it is really special to be together with so many friends at a dance designed just for us,” said Junior Nicki Stoller.
KU Hillel Formal will take place at The Oread Hotel this year. The Oread Hotel is centrally located on campus so it is convenient for students across campus to get to. “I'm looking forward to our new location and the large number of students we are expecting. There is a lot of excitement about this event and we are expecting a large turn out… this type of event is a great way to get more Jewish students excited about Jewish life on KU’s campus” Stoller concluded.
The theme for this year’s formal is "You Had Me at Hillel.”
