Rock Chalk Shabbat in the Park

We had the best time celebrating Rock Chalk Shabbat in Ironwoods Park on Friday, April 29! Our Shabbat services were led by our talented student songleaders, joined by the voices of our community.

Thank you so much for your generous support of KU Hillel! Check out our recap video and relive the night with us!

We loved bringing our community together for an incredible evening. Our Camp Counselors brought out tie-dye for our youngest “campers” to decorate Future Jayhawk shirts and led them in arts and crafts for a summer camp experience (including painting their own tzedakah boxes and mezuzahs).

Fun fact: All plates, utensils and cups were compostable, reducing our overall event waste and making a greener future.
