How far from campus is KU Hillel and how do I get there?

KU Hillel is steps from campus at 1121 Indiana St., across from the Oread and AEPi, and a quick walk from the Kansas Union. You can also take the bus as there’s a stop out front or walk over from classes or dorms.

What does a typical week of programming look like?

While the office is always open for students to study and spend time in, we typically have designated programming at least 3 days a week. Check out our Calendar for upcoming events!

Do you have Shabbat programming every week?

Does Hillel have any study abroad programs?

KU Hillel offers students a variety of programs to travel abroad. Opportunities range from short, Hillel sponsored trips, to support in planning your semester abroad. Be sure to check out our Travel Opportunities for details!

Can I study Hebrew or Jewish Studies at KU?

KU has a vibrant and growing Jewish Studies Program. You can study Hebrew at any level, or even Yiddish if you like. Course offerings include a wide range of subjects including Jewish Film, anti-Semitism, Israeli politics and much more. The program offers a major or a minor degree. How do I get involved?

How does Hillel communicate with students?

KU Hillel sends out a weekly newsletter highlighting upcoming events. Events are also highlighted on social media, and in GroupMes with students! You can follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
